Wow we have been so busy. As some if you know Baylee had to have her Adenoids out. I did not know a lot about the adenoids so here is some info that help me.

"The adenoids are a mass of lymphoid tissue in the roof of the nasopharynx, located just inferior to the sphenoid sinus and anterior to the basi-occiput. laterally, the adenoids blend with the lymphoid tissue of the fossa of Rosenmuller near the opening of the eustachian tube.

The adenoids are present in all infants and children, and start to regress just before puberty. They are usually absent in adults.

Large adenoids produce nasal obstruction, mouth breathing, nasal voice, snoring and restless sleep. Chronic mouth breathing during the age when the facial bones are changing toward the adult configuration often produces a high arched palate, the pinching in of the nose and a shortened upper lip, with a staring expression of the eyes. The face becomes slightly elongated and the upper teeth may be prominent. These changes are called adenoid facies.

In addition, hypertrophy of the adenoids may also produce obstruction of the eustachian tubes and contribute to the formation of middle ear"

Baylee's Adenoids were 40% bigger then they should have been, so they are out. We had to be at the hospital for one night. Baylee did so good. She sleep most of the day that she had surgery so at 12am when they came in to get her bp and tmp she wanted to play so from 12 am to 4am we were at the play room. It was a long night but she was happy. Baylee is trying to walk, she pulls her self up all the time every were. This is all I have time for but I will put more on soon! I will leave you with some photos.

HAPPY 9 MONTH B- DAY BAYLEE!

The Tooth Fairy came to see us.

Tylar was the first in our house to lose a tooth. Travis and I toll him that it was going to be 2 or 3 more days before it came out and when we want to get him from school it was out. When we asked him how it came out he tolled us that his friend help him get it out.... nice. this is the note he did for the tooth fairy.

Christian and Tylar had there first thing at school it was to fun to see them. This year has been FULL of discovery and change and a never-ending cycle of learning and exploration. Our kids are so blessed to have family that are there for them to help make all this fun. Tylar looked at me when we got home and said "It made me so happy to have my family with me on my big night." Here is a video that Grandpa help me get.

Only if he knew this is just the first of a lot of big nights to come. Thank you to all that has been there for our kids.

She smiles gurgles and"talks" all the time. Baylee is on the go. If she is holding on to something or someone then she can walk. It is so fun to have a baby girl in the house, there is a lot more cute thing I can put on her.

Dear Baylee It has been 8 mouths. Every day I thank God for completing our family with you. I never knew how bad I want a girl but now that I have you i know..lol I have you in pink all the time. I don't know how it will be when you are bigger but right now your brothers love playing with you all the time. You are a complex little person, but at the same time, you embody pure simplicity. You need few things to keep you content and happy. You make us pay attention to what is important. Baylee we love you.

Baylee You are a sweet little girl and we love you so. It is so fun to see how your 3 bothers try to protect you and you are only 7 months. Today I was thinking for one so small you are so strong. Most days you are so happy, you love to play. You are growing so fast (to fast) One week before you were 7m you stared to crawl and now you are every were..lol Most of the time you say Dada Dada all day long. Mommy has a lot of fun getting you ready for the day. Baylee I hope you never stop making the world bright.

Happy birth day to my Hubby. His birth day was Feb 12. He was the big 30.. lol, so we had a party for him. It was going to be a surprise up my 3 year tolled him the day before. He was a little surprise because he did not know who was going to be there. Here are some photos.

I am one happy mom. Tylar got an Award at school they call it a Character Ed award and his was for Respect. Christian also got one for Caring. It is so good to see that outer people get to see what we see all the time. They have 24 kids in there class'and only 3 kids from each class got an award. Daddy and Grandpa and I got to go and see them get it the boys were happy to see grandpa and show Baylee to there friends. I hope this is how school is going to go for them!

Wow, I have not been on here a lot. Our little girl has been sick and with the Dr's help we have find out that she has Asthma. But with her being sick a lot that is not stopping her from growing. Baylee is a social butterfly. She likes to "talk" to everyone she sees

The thing Baylee is doing:

Rolls over both ways (front to back and back to front)

She mouths everything.

Smiles, laughs, squeals and is imitating sounds.

She loves to stand

Has two teeth.

Bang things together.

She is getting so big. She is now 16lb and growing. The new things Baylee is doing:
She can say dad dad and mom mom.
She can sit with no help.
She has a teeth.
she can held her bottle with no help.
She is now eating baby food.

It is a big Change to have a little girl in the house. We now have pick and baby Dall's. I am use to having cars and balls...lol but it is a fun change.

This Christmas was a lot of fun. We had a lot of first:
The boys made a Christmas list (with no help)
We made a gingerbread house (I don't know way we have not done this before)
Baylee did Christmas with us (it was fun to see pick things from Santa)
Gavin got his photo done with Santa ( he would always cry)
Daddy had to work on new years eve.(he works 24h so he came home new years day)
All the kids were up at 12am.( and they were happy)

Christmas Tubes For Baylee.

Baylee has had a lot of problems with her ears. So our Dr got us in to the Ear, Nose and Throat Dr. They looked at Baylee's ears and said that she needed tubes right away, so the next day Baylee had tubes put in. She was a good girl and only cred at the end when it had been 10h from the last time she had had food. here are some photos from the hospital.

Every day I look at you and thank God for you. You are always so happy, you smile all the time. I love it when you and Daddy "talk". We have never had a good sleeper and you sleep all night. We have never had pike in the house and now it is every were. We have never had a blue eyed baby and for now we do. We have never had a little girl and now we do and I am loving it.

Our family loves Halloween and this was Baylees first so it was more fun. Gavin was Woody or Hoody if you asked him..lol Baylee was a mouse.

We all had a good time and the boys got a lot of Candy. Someone said to me that they do not let there kids go out because it is Satan's day. So this year I looked for the good and here is what I find. Some people send there candy over to the troops. I talked to a mom and they give candy to a shelter. We give some of ours to the firehouse. I do not find Satan in that at all but who am I. Most of all I had 4 Happy kids.

I will start with our new little one. Baylee Aaron was bone on Aug 6, 2009 at 305pm by c-section do to being breech. She was 6lb 15oz and was 19in long. I was in the hospital for 3 days and in that time the boys god parents and Travis mom and dad came to help us out. When I got home My hubby's grandparents came to help us out. In the week that they were with us my c-section became infected and had to be reopened. Along with all this going on Christian and Tylar had a summer treason program for school and speech. Every thing was going good and we were preparing for Gavin's 3ed birthday party. The night before I had a low grade temp and one of my breast were red. When I called the Dr he said it was mastitis and put me on an antibiotic this was Saturday. On Monday I had a temp of 104 and was in a lot of pain so the Dr had my come in. During my visit they were concerned that the mastitis was worse, so with that, they decided to admit me. This meant that I had to be away from all four of my kids for 2 days. Even though it was hard daddy did an amazing job. It worked out so that I got to come home the morning all three boys started school. That day was a happy but sad day. Sad cause my boys were grown up and going to school, but happy cause I got to be home and take them that first day. Because of the infection I was no longer able to breast feed, so Ms Baylee has had to go to formula. She did OK with it, but is having some gas and is spitting up. With the Dr's help we are trying different things to get our happy baby back. With all this said here is what you have been waiting on...THE PHOTOS!

Can you believe it has been over a month since we have posted a blog. So here is the May break down.

Had a girls day out.

Then it was Mothers Day, all four of my boys spoiled me like always.

The next day was our Annaversery of 7 years and can you believe we got two nights out to eat dinner with out kids.

Have been going to a lot of yard sales to find good deals.

Have had a lot of soccer games, it is so much fun to watch the boys grow more and more in the sport. It is also fun to see Grandpa out on the field as the coach.

It happened Christian and Tylar Graduated from Pre-School.

In the middle of all this Travis injured himself at work duing a training exercise so that means lots of paper work and Dr visits. He is doing ok but is still not allowed to go back to work yet.

Speaking of DR apointments Mine are every two weeks now. I am hoping to put a belly shot on this week.

So with all that said that would be why it has been a month of no blogging. I hope to have more soon, and get back to commenting on your blogs.

It is soccer time! This time we have all 3 of our kids in soccer. We are so busy now with all the soccer things that is why I have not been on a lot(sorry). Saturday was the fist game. They all did a good job for the first game. Christian and Tylar are now on a "big boy team" so they have a lot more that the need to know and do in the game. This was Gavin's first thing that he has need with out mom and dad. Gavin only cry 2 times and did some of the game with us off the Field. At the end of the game he told me that he loves soccer. I will try to post more soon and read all of your blogs so don't give up on me:) Here are the photos.

Our Easter

Yes I know it is one week late, but hey you are getting it! We had a very good but busy Easter weekend. We went to Wheeling and picked up our "daughter" for a long weekend, the kids did 6 Easter Egg hunts, we colored eggs, we had dinner with my family, desert with Travis' family, the Easter bunny came, and most importantly we had 2 church services on Sunday.

We finally got Gavin to sit on the bunny's lap and got proof!

In the middle of our busy and chaotic weekend we had a wonderful opportunity to teach our boys a valuable lesson about helping one another. At one of the Easter Egg hunts that we went to there was a little boy who only got one egg. So my hubby and I convinced our boys to give up one egg each. At the end of the hunt an older child came up to our boys and gave them each one of her eggs cause she said she had too many. I am always amazed at how God knows exactly how to get our attention even in our chaotic moments.

Tylar loves to Cook so he ask if we would get him a cook book. His grandma had his daddy's old one so she let him have it. This made Tylar's day! So here is the fist thing that he made from the book.
It was good and he was so proud. I was happy that Grandma was here to help because he is a spaze in the kitchen! Grandpa was a good help with Christian and Gavin. Here is our little chef.

letters and flour

We have have a lot of work we need to do on are letters with Christian and Tylar, so I am always looking for fun ways to work on it. Over at Jennys she did it with sugar but I had a lot of flour so I did it with that. I put a little flour on a small plate for each child. Then, I showed them how to make letters in the flour and then shake the plate to erase them. The kid had a lot of fun!

Christian said the baby is going to be a boy, is he right?

we are happy to say that Gavin is right!

Now that I had my fun I will tell you that we get to see our beautiful healthy baby today! The baby has a healthy heart, and the coolest thing was that we got to actually see the brain. We did not have this opportunity with our other pregnancies. See if you can make out all the parts in the ultrasounds then I will tell you at the end what they are.

So did you figure it out?
First one was the head see the button nose? CUTE!
Second FEET!! that was a hard one to get lots of moving around.
Third...Did you see it? me neither they tell me when there is no penis visible that usually that means it is a GIRL!! HOLY MOLY A GIRL(dad's reaction) We were wondering if he even knew how to make them. Well if they are right we will have 3 boys protecting one poor little girl her whole life!!! We are happy that everything looked good and we are right on target as far as growth and what not goes. Now we have a lot of shopping to do, no girl stuff!

Today Gavin had his preschool Evaluation. This means that he had to go to his potential preschool class for the whole school day(it is only two and a half hours for them, but an eternity for Dad and I). Gavin was all set this morning with his snack, backpack and smile. When we dropped him off I thought he might cry, but no tears from him just a Bye mom. The two hours were very long for me but Gavin did a great job. They only take 20 kids and we are happy to say Gavin is one!

Tring to put the FUN back in our lives

Lately with being sick and all, I have not been a fun Mama. Now that most of the Nausea has passed it is back to the fun. We have a fun place here in Ohio called COSI a place of fun and learning. So here are some Photos of our fun day.

It was a busy day for me, Travis was at a Bible class, I took the kids out, and got the house ready for some guests. Our friends from school and camp came to visit with there 2 kids.

That next day we went to see Disney On Ice. The boys had such a good time, My hubby and I had more fun watching Gavin clap, laugh, and dance. Here is a Photo of our boys in there new dash hats. (it is from my Hubby's phone so it might not be real clear)

Then only 2 days later we went to see a eat a lot of food hoping a Blue Jackets game would break out =). Our hockey team has an all you can eat promotion that we try to go to every year. This one was Gavin's first one. I don't know if Tylar seen most of the game because he was busy looking at girls. Here is the only photo we got again it is from Travis' phone.

Family Update

As you all know I haven't been on in a long time. Sense I was six weeks pregnant I have gotten sick almost every day..it has been worse lately. Tomorrow I will be 16 weeks, so hopefully it will end soon. On a good note Travis got his part-time position at Westerville Fire Department, and will be starting oriantation on March 16. This is really good news for our family mainly because this department is his dream department. The boys are all doing good. Most days I look at them and wonder how they got so big. They have been mommy's big helpers on my really bad days. Hopefully I am back and can have more soon both with updates and Pics. P.S. I would put belly shots but because I have been so sick I don't really have one. Trav said I could use his but I don't think you want to see those. hehehe

I am first going to say I am SO sorry for just now getting to this post. We had won the contest over at Organized Doodles and would really like to Thank Rick for such an awesome doodle. It was even better then we imagined it would be. Elsie let me(Travis her hubby) pic what I wanted. God has truly blessed him with a talent that I am happy to get to share with others. There is how ever one issue that has come up...our son Tylar swears it is going to be framed and put in his room not on the mantle like I want. I will win out, but I am happy he sees what I see. We had an Ohio state party this weekend and had a fun time. We did cookies and made buckeye jewelry with the kid. Most of all we where with our friends and some family. So here are some photos of the fun.

Angels

In my life I have realized that God sends special angels in human form to help us along our way. Some of those "angels" we just get to see in passing or read about. However, once in a while we really get to know them. I have been so lucky that in my life time, of only 26 years, I have had the opportunity to have many "angels" in my life. Around this time of year I especially miss one very much. When I was just four God sent a very Important "Angel" to me. His name is Dennie, and he is the man I now call Dad. I lived in one of those houses that you see on TV and hope that it is not real. My Father was an abusive alcoholic and my Mother is mentally slow and had her choice of drugs also. Our house was always dirty and we did not know when we would get food or even what it would be. During all of this God had a plain, he sent a church bus to my house. My parents quickly put us on the bus so they could do their thing. In this old small church is where I meet Dennie. He always had a smile on his face and know how matter how dirty I was he always had a big hug. Dennie and his wife Nora came and got me most weekends and summers from the time I was 5 till I was 14. At 14 I went to live with them. Dennie helped teach me to cook, to drive, and most of all how to love and be loved. At 19 God need this Important Angel back in heaven. There is not a day that goes by that I don't miss him. But at Thanksgiving and Christmas time it is very hard for me because he made these times special. What helps me make it through is to know that one day I WILL get to see him. Even knowing that I still wish he was here to see his 3 grandsons and what a great husband and father Travis has become. So to my Blog friends treasure your "angels" everyday.

Our boys are now 5. They are so big now most of the time they do not need mommy or daddy, but that is ok. As long as they give me hugs and kiss' I am ok. We had a big party for them is weekend and it was a lot of fun. Travis' grandparents came in from California on Friday and will go home Wednesday. We have had a good time just getting to see them with the boys.

A couple weeks ago my husband and I got to go see an adult movie. I let him choose and he picked Fireproof. I didn't know a lot about it, but I was just excited that it wasn't a kid movie. It is made by the same people who made Facing the Giants and that is a movie I like. There were parts of the movie that I laughed, that I cried, and that just made me think. He did such a good job at his pick I am now recamending it to all of you. Here is a trailer...

Our power went out on Sunday at 3:15pm and came back on at 9:45pm on Wednesday. This was all from Ike. We lost all our food and our roof needs to be done now. On the up side I had fun coming up with Things to make on the grill. The boys an I played a lot of games. And I learned to make a fire in the fireplace. As you all know Gavin just tared 2 on August 31 and this week he has told us no more diapers. That is good but it is a lot of work as you all know when boys are learning to go to the potty you are in the bathroom ALL the time. In the last 3 days we have only had one accident and we were at the mall playing and he told me he had to go but I could not get him there in time. So tonight at bed time he had to go potty it was the #2 so we needed a book. I was in the bathroom with him for about 15min and then Tylar came in to help me read. I want out and when I came back in I heard Tylar telling Gavin that all good books end in amen. So I will lave you with

We have come a long way in the last 6 years. We have had our ups and downs but now that I look back I am so happy that God knew what he was doing. There were at lot of days that I can remeber praying and thinking that he did not hear me. I don't know if it is that I am older or that I have grown more in my faith but now I can see that he heard my every prayer. I love my life and I thank God every day.

Christian and Tylar had a great first day of school. They were so happy to go to school that they got up at 645 (most of the time they get up at 8) I also did good this year, last year I cried. So #1 is a photo of the boys who got to go to school. #2 is a photo of the boys who wanted to go to school. And #3 is the one that did not get to go, so he cried all the way home.

We had a good time. It was the first time that we could have a party at our home. We had 53 Friends and family that come to see little Gavin on is big day. It was all good but Gavin was not feeling good and at the and he got sick. Not the way we hoped it would be but we all had a good time.

So the boys and I needed a day off. We want to the Zoo today what some of our friends and there kids. There was 3 moms and 9 kids. All the kids were soooooooo good. We tried to get a good photo of all the kids but we only could get some of them.

I would say that I most admire my dad. My dad died 7 years ago and I miss him a lot. He was the one that I could go to and know that no matter what I did he would love me. I look at my boys and I see my dad this is so funny because I am adopted. I would be one happy mom if my boys grow up to be like my dad. I want to grow up to be like my dad too:)

Who is your favorite cousin ?

My favorite cousin on my hubby's side in Ohio would have to be Brittany and Jim because they are the only ones that I talk to but I love them all.

What is the most challenging thing about raising boys, you've encountered thus far?
Will, I would say that would be the challenge of being consistent. I am trying to work on it but when I am on the phone I am not to good at it and they know it.

What's your most favorite memory at Camp?...(besides getting engaged!) I would say when I got married hahaha. When I was a kid before I was adopted I would go to camp and it was the one thing that I had to look forward to.

If you could travel anywhere in the world to visit, where would you go??!! :)) Can I go every where? If not I would say Australia.

SORRY we have been on vacation. I will stare with telling you about the week before our vacation. Travis' uncle came in town for work so we got to see him. The boys had a good time with him and he taught them a new thing. Can you guess what it was? It was how to put their finger in their nose. Now you can see why my boys love him (and we love him to), he is a cool uncle. Here is a photo of Christian and uncle Micah.
We had a lot going on this week. One of the big things is that Christian got his ear pierced, Yes I only said Christian. Tylar did not want his ear pierced. This made Dad and I happy because it is one of the first things that they have done different. Here is a photo of Christian's ear.

The boys also had there first hot dog and kool-aid sale. They did a good job and made $30.
Gavin helped also. He would get the hot dogs and run and eat them! I have a lot more going on but I need to go to bed so I will put more on soon.

A new home!

We are buying are first home. We have been in a two bedroom one bathroom Apartment for the last 6 years. As you know we have three kids so two bedrooms is just to small. So I should be so happy, but I am so stressed out. There is a lot to buying a house. We had a hard time finding a house that was in the neighborhood and that was a good pries. We did find one but it needs a lot of work. It has 21/2 bathrooms and 4 bedroom. Just the house for us. I am the kind of person that likes to have thing done in my time and as you all know that is not how buying a house works. So pray for me that I do not get to stressed out. We will close on the 11th of July of all goes will. Here is a photo of the new house.

Sorry this is late, but here it is. We had a good weekend with family. Sunday was with Travis' family and Monday was my family. It was one more busy weekend. The kids were soooooooo good, thank you God. Some times I feel like the kids are in time out more than not, but not this weekend yea. With Travis' family we did water balloons. The kids loved it.

NASHVILLE, TN...5/21/08...
At approximately 5pm on the afternoon of Wednesday May 21st, Maria Sue Chapman, 5 years old and the youngest daughter to Steven and Mary Beth Chapman was struck in the driveway of the Chapman home in Franklin, TN by her brother. Maria was rushed to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville, transported by Life Flight, but died of her injuries there. Maria is one of the close knit family’s six children and one of their three adopted daughters. These family needs a lot of prayers.

We had a bad weekend. We had to take Gavin to the urgent care on Friday he had a temp of 103.1, They told us that he had Step Throat and an ear infection. So today he had a temp of 104 and was vomiting. My little boy was not feeling good. We had to take him to the ER so he could get an IV. He his now in bad and no temp and doing good. I have no photos because my camera is not working. Pray for us that tomorrow is better. I will have more soon.

Travis you are my best friend. I know that sometimes the road has be tough, but it has been so much easier with you. Ever day I thank God that he put you in my life. You are a good hubby and a great daddy! You open my eyes and hart to the world around me again and again and you make everything new and exciting. The first soccer game.

Today was Christian and Tylar's first game. It was a good game. All 7 kids played. We only had one kid that cried ( I think that is good since the kids are 2-4). There is only 4 kids in the game at a time and no goalie. They do not keep score, But I did is that bad? So the score was 2 to 4. We scored 2. One of our gaols came from Tylar. Here are some photos. A bad but good Weekend

On Thursday we were driving in our 1995 van, all was good. Then the van door opened up and would not close. So all the way home Travis ( my hubby) had to dive and hold the door , not good. We had been talking about getting a new van, we just did not plan on doing it now. That night we had a friend look at it and he said he could fix it but it was going to cost a lot of money. To make a long story short we got a new van.

This is the old one. This is the new one.

We like the new van, it is a big step up for us.
